Terms of Engagement & Privacy Policy

Below are the Terms of Engagement & Privacy Policy relevant to the Higher Mind Program

Terms of Engagement

All participants must be at least 25 years old at the time of starting the Higher Mind program, however we may accept younger participants at our discretion.  We reserve the right to accept participants for the Higher Mind program if we consider them to have the capacity to succeed in the program.

 

All participants must meet the following minimum requirements for participation in the program:

  • Conversational and written comprehension of the English language

  • Access to a computer and internet

  • Two hours per week to complete each session, submit responses to integration exercises, practice daily and journal.

  • One hour a week attendance at group Q&A and coaching sessions.

 

All participants must follow the steps outlined in the Enrolment Process.   

Participation in the program is payable at the time of enrolment. If you are not satisfied with the program, we will refund your payment within the first 7 days.

Please pay using the payment gateway provided on the Enrolment Process page. Payments are accepted through PayPal or credit card. We will provide you confirmation of payment and a tax invoice upon receipt of payment.

Once your enrolment is completed and you've made your payment you will receive an email confirming your successful entry to the Higher Mind program. The email will provide you with onboarding details including the program commencement date, link to the Higher Mind program and the schedule for weekly group Q&A and coaching sessions.

 

We cannot guarantee you any level of achievement in the Higher Mind program, but we will try to ensure you get as much from it as you can.  Ultimately your achievement is determined by your level of engagement with us.  If you feel at any time, you are not satisfied with your progress in the Higher Mind program, please discuss it with Victoria Wilding.  You may end your participation in the Higher Mind program at any time.

 

We shall manage your personal information confidentially in accordance with our Privacy Statement and not use it or disclose it other than as permitted or required by applicable law.  In return, by participating in the Higher Mind program, you agree to all intellectual property created, discovered, brought into existence, or otherwise disclosed or acquired as a result of, for the purposes of, or in connection with the Higher Mind program and all other rights in respect of such intellectual property immediately vest in us and comprise part of our” Confidential Information”.

 

You must keep all our Confidential Information* (including the aforesaid intellectual property) confidential and you undertake not to communicate, publish, or release, retain, copy or reverse engineer or permit any of the same to occur in any manner at all (written, oral or otherwise) except as permitted or required by law. You acknowledge and agree to indemnify us for any loss we incur arising from any breach by you of this important criterion and we may elect to terminate your participation in the Higher Mind program and to take any other lawful actions to protect our confidential information, reputation and lessen any loss we incur.

 

When unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond our control cause or threaten a major disruption to the Higher Mind program, we will contact you and outline alternative arrangements.  The laws of the State of Victoria, Australia govern this agreement and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts.

 

Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement relates only to the information we collect from your contact with us about the Higher Mind program.

 

We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing personal information fairly and lawfully in compliance with applicable legislation. The collection of personal information by us is governed by the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic). "Personal information" is defined broadly as information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. 

 

We have a legislated obligation to protect your personal information by taking all reasonable steps to ensure that the information we hold is protected from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or unlawful disclosure. Specifically, access to systems, applications and the collected data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

 

Our website may collect site visit data the better to understand general user trends at an aggregate level and improve web performance, web services, and website maintenance. We may also use site visit information for security audits to protect against threats from hackers, and for other law enforcement and security purposes. We will not attempt to identify individuals from the records the application process [and website server?] generates, unless required to do so as part of an investigation or for a law enforcement-related purpose.

We may occasionally make changes to this Privacy Statement, for example when there are changes in relevant laws or when we adopt new working practices.
